This is a highly regarded historical and military museum, established in 1963 and situated at 5 Emilii Gierczak Street. The exhibition ‘The History of Polish Arms’ features weapons and military equipment from the Middle Ages to the present day, including an extensive collection of uniforms from the First and Second World Wars, artillery equipment, aircraft and vehicles. Outside, there is an open-air exhibition featuring tanks, guns and aircraft. The museum also has two branches: the City History Branch (in the Braunschweig Palace) and the Maritime Open-Air Museum by the harbour – an exhibition featuring the ships ORP Fala and ORP Władysławowo.
